A few of those visited were in Homes outside Chichester (though we intend to remain focused upon the needs of Chichester City dwellers) or in their own homes.
When we say ‘we’, we mean 29 magnificent Anna Friends, who work unselfishly and give generously of their time and hearts to meet and befriend older people.
The numbers hide many good things, such as consistency and constancy. Some residents were visited over 50 times during the year, and by more than one Anna Friend; others have been seen while in respite care and have since returned home.
And some have gone on, on their own journeys, and it was often an honour to be with them before they set off.
